IMFA ACTIVITIES

• IMFA will feature food-related molded fiber products in their exhibit at Pack-Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada USA
  October 5-6-7, 2009.

• IMFA's "12th International Molded Fiber Product Seminar" was held in March at the Crown Plaza Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, TX USA. The seminar was well attended and included molded fiber industry leaders from eight countries. Papers were presented by ten speakers.
  
  Edward Soltys of Georgia Pacific Chemicals; Tian Chengtai of Donggan Huida Packaging;
  Edward Church of ISTA; Nathan Whitmore of Oliver Products Inc.; Chris Lo of Tooling Artworks Ltd.;
  John Hunt of the US Forest Products Laboratory; John Taljaard of Southern Pulp Machinery Ltd.;
  Mark Ocock of Allied Development Inc.; Paul Schutes of The Recycled Paperboard Alliance and
  Bill Noble of EnviroPak Inc.

• The "13th Molded Fiber Product Seminar" is being planned for September 2010 in Europe.
  

• As a member of the Walmart Sustainable Value Network Steering committee, IMFA supports the environmental initiatives of the Walmart company and the molded fiber industry.

• IMFA exhibited molded fiber products from worldwide sources at the PMMI Pack-Expo in Chicago in November of 2008
