Looking Forward to 2021

April 2021 Conference Goes Virtual
IMFA’s plan for April 2021 is to host our conference virtually. As we still hammer out the details, this conference will be on a larger scale than our September one. We will have more speakers and more opportunities for networking.
The 2021 Virtual Spring Conference will be priced at $500 for members and $800 for non-members.
Your 2020 Conference Payment: Refunds & Alternatives
Your payment for the in-person conference can either be refunded, or you can transfer it to other IMFA offerings.
As an alternative option to a refund, you may transfer your registration funds to the 2021 Virtual Spring Conference, 2021 membership dues, etc. and receive a credit on your account for the remaining balance, if any.
Examples:
  • If you paid $999 for conference registration, you can use that toward your 2021 dues. If you’re a premier member ($2,500), you would just owe the balance of $1,501 for your 2021 membership.
  • If you paid the non-member rate of $1,999 for conference registration, then you can use those funds to join IMFA. If you become an Affiliate member at $1,850, then you would have $149 in credits leftover to use on upcoming conferences, webinars, etc. OR you can receive a refund of $149.
IMFA has sponsorship opportunities available for upcoming webinars and for our upcoming virtual conferences. Credit on your account may be used toward sponsorship opportunities. More information will be announced closer to webinars/conferences.
Please note that if we do not hear from you about your 2020 payment, we will hold on to your funds and transfer your registration to the expected 2022 in-person conference.
Industry Certification Resource Center
In 2020, IMFA created a certification committee. Its members include Mike Gallant, CKF Inc. and Dr. Susan Cornish, MOORE & Associates. The new certification committee is working hard to create a directory of MF certifications with information on where to find out more and how to apply. IMFA will announce its Certification Resource Center in early 2021.
