The International Molded Fiber Association Appoints Ashley Boger as Executive Director

The International Molded Fiber Association (IMFA) is proud to announce the appointment of Ashley Boger as its new Executive Director, ushering in a new era of leadership for the organization. Boger, who joined IMFA's management team in late 2023, was selected by the Board of Directors following her significant contributions to the association and her extensive expertise in sustainable packaging and trade association management.

“I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Ms. Boger as part of our executive leadership team over the past year, and her exceptional efforts have propelled our association forward in ways we never imagined possible in such a short time,” said IMFA Executive Chairman Gary Visser. “Ashley has become a trusted resource and a valued partner to many within the molded fiber industry. We are eager to see how her strategic vision and collaborative approach will further elevate IMFA in the months and years to come.”

A recognized leader in the sustainable packaging industry, Boger brings a wealth of experience in guiding trade associations through periods of substantial growth in membership, programs, and events. In 2024, she launched a groundbreaking four-part digital training series on the fundamentals of molded fiber products. Initially an exclusive member benefit, the series was later made publicly available to foster education and innovation across the entire industry.

Under Boger’s leadership, IMFA will continue its rapid growth as one of the industry’s most dynamic trade associations. Membership has doubled over the past two years, driven by a commitment to value creation and member engagement. “I am deeply honored by the Board of Directors’ confidence in my leadership,” said Boger. “I am excited to build on IMFA’s incredible momentum and work closely with our members to elevate the profile of the global molded fiber industry.”

Boger recently addressed members and industry leaders from the main stage at IMFA’s 2024 Annual Conference in California, where her insights and leadership resonated strongly. She is set to deliver an update on the state of the association at IMFA’s upcoming spring conference in Miami.

The IMFA Board of Directors also extends its heartfelt gratitude to outgoing Executive Director Kristen Wing for her dedication to the association and the industry. Wing will continue her involvement with IMFA, focusing on membership initiatives and ensuring a smooth leadership transition.

Up next for IMFA is its 27th Annual Conference from April 30 – May 2, 2025, in Miami, Florida. The conference will bring together molded fiber packaging leaders to discuss the latest advancements in the industry, discover insights into renewable molded fiber packaging, and opportunities to connect with global manufacturers, equipment and service providers, suppliers, and industry experts.
