Important Information for IMFA Members &
Conference Attendees Regarding COVID-19

The IMFA board of directors continues to monitor the rapidly changing health risks and business restrictions related to the spread of COVID-19. Given the wide breadth of attendees and IMFA members from around the world, we recognize that asking you to travel domestically or overseas during this critical period presents concerns regarding your personal health, along with the wellbeing of the industry at large.

In order to ensure the health and safety of our members and guests, the IMFA board has decided to reschedule this year’s conference for September 24–26 at the same venue, the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia. We are working with Omni now to secure the September date for IMFA.

This decision is difficult, but necessary. We are very much looking forward to seeing you in September and delivering one of the best conference programs in IMFA history. Your wellbeing and the wellbeing of our staff will always be our top priority.

If you have already registered for the conference, your registration will remain in place along with any guest registrations, housing reservations and additional activities added to your purchase. We will work with Omni during the coming weeks to ensure your housing reservation will be updated to coincide with your new travel schedule. The IMFA policy still stands that you can reach out to us 30 days from the new date (by August 23, 2020), and be fully refunded.

For those of you who have not yet registered for the conference, all new registrations between now and the event date will be locked in at the current rates for members, non-members and guests.

I understand this decision may spur unexpected scheduling conflicts and unintended inconvenience when rebooking travel. We are grateful for your patience and understanding as we work to safely navigate health risks.
